Helping Our People Excel
Social, Economic, and Educational Empowerment for Women, and Girls
Social Empowerment
Violence against women, including dowry-related violence, rape, incest, wife battering, female feticide and female infanticide, trafficking, early marriage, teenage pregnancy are prevalent in Liberia.
Educational Empowerment
We contribute to the effective implementation the National Policy on Girls’ Education (NPGE), with a specific focus on the areas of the policy addressing the key barriers to girls’ attendance, retention, and completion (GARC) in secondary schools
Economic Empowerment
In our effort of addressing the areas of gender inequalities, economic empowerment is crucial. Economies that failed to implement reforms towards gender equality continue to witness smaller increase in the percentage of women.
